The Last of the Mohicans

Read the original novel that inspired many adaptions for film, tv and radio, including the famous 1992 movie starring Daniel Day-Lewis. During the Seven Years War, the battle between the French and the English over the North American colonies, the French army called upon Native American warriors to fight on their side. The story follows Uncas, the last pure-blooden Mohican, and the American hero Natty Bumppo, also called Hawkeye.
