An omniscient narrator admonishes two children to climb into bed and dream of being star-herding cowpokes. Holland takes the just-make-the-last-syllable-in-the-line-rhyme approach ("Now kindle some campfires / In the Milky Way, / So ranch hands can sing / 'Yippee-ki-yi-ay!'"), which makes for stumbly reading.
